The user interface of the swisscovery research platform will appear in a new layout and offer new functions from Monday, 14.11.2022. This will change the ordering process.
The Swiss-wide research platform swisscovery has undergone a re-design and will appear in a new look as of 14. November. With the new layout, the ordering process will be optimized and further developed. These are the most important changes:
New ordering process
The updated ordering interface is now divided into two sections: "Pick up on site" and "Further request options". This includes more detailed information on the cost of services. In addition, the user accounts have been made clearer.
Especially for all UZH members: You benefit from special conditions when ordering articles.
UZH researchers, lecturers, and staff members can order journal articles or individual chapters from media that are available locally in the holdings of the University Library of Zurich (UB) and the Zurich Central Library (ZB) free of charge only via a selected ordering channel in swisscovery. To do so, use the order area "Pickup on site".
If journal articles and individual chapters from media are missing from the local holdings of the UB and ZB Zurich, all UZH members can continue to order these via the order form for copies/digitized copies
Extended research options
More libraries from the canton of Vaud are now listed with their holdings in swisscovery. You will find these as well as all other holdings from other Swiss universities in the new search area "swisscovery plus".
