New E-Books from Oxford Medicine Online
In 2026, members of UZH have access, via the UZH network, to the complete e-book portfolio of Oxford Medicine Online. All books included in this package are also available through swisscovery.
At the end of 2026, the University Library (UB) will evaluate which e-books will be licensed on a permanent basis, using actual usage data. This usage-based acquisition model, known as Evidence Based Acquisition (EBA), ensures that the budget is invested specifically in titles that are needed for studies, research, and teaching.
The pilot project is being carried out by UB Medicine. All interested users are invited to make use of the offer, and feedback on both usage and the collection is very welcome.
