ZORA Currently Available with Limited Stability
Over the past few weeks, ZORA has experienced repeated outages due to a very high volume of automated traffic (e.g., bots, crawlers, and DDoS attacks). To maintain operations, ZORA was temporarily only accessible via the UZH network or through VPN.
In the meantime, several technical measures have been implemented that should restore access to ZORA for all users.
However, the situation remains challenging, and stabilising the system will take time. Therefore, temporary interruptions or limited availability are still to be expected in the coming weeks.
For members of UZH and affiliated institutions (USZ, KiSpi, Balgrist, PUK), access via the UZH network or VPN will continue to be available at all times.
