New Booked version: Customization

The switch to the new version of the “Booked” reservation system has led to a lot of feedback from students. Due to an adjustment, it is now possible to book full 7 days in advance.
The update to the new version is related to the 2-factor authentication required by UZH. The old version of booked could not fulfill this requirement. We therefore had to switch to the new version, which offers new configurations.
However, the previous 7-day rule is no longer available. As an alternative, the rolling booking option is offered, i.e. a booking time window that shifts on a rolling basis.
Based on your feedback, we have adjusted the system so that a full 7 days can be booked again. The 8x24 hours rule now applies in the background. If this measure does not work, we currently only see the option of deactivating the system until we can offer a better solution.
