O’Reilly for Higher Education – New Licence
Do you want to learn a new programming language? Do you work with data? Or would you like to improve your digital skills? The learning platform O’Reilly for Higher Eduction provides access to over 47’000 E-books, more than 30’000 hours of video and further E-learning contents, which can also be used for teaching.
The platform covers a range of topics relevant to different disciplines, with a focus on:
- Programming
- Artificial intelligence
- Data science
- Web and software design
- Business & economics
- Soft skills and career developmen
Get access to the platform:
- Go to the following page: https://www.oreilly.com/library-access/
- Ensure that you are connected to the University of Zurich network (e.g. on campus or via VPN).
- Log in with an email address from the uzh.ch domain (e.g. @uzh.ch or @institut.uzh.ch).
- Search for ‘University of Zurich’ and click on ‘Sign In’.
- You will receive an email to create a personal password for your account.

Access via Swisscovery
The contents of the platform can also be searched via Swisscovery. You can access the titles via your personal O'Reilly account.
