From Monday, 31 August 2026, until Sunday, 31 Januar 2027, as part of a pilot project at the following locations, students must check in at the designated stations to use reserved study spaces:
UB Business Administration
UB Business Administration Study Room
UB Medicine Careum Study Room

Current occupancy without consideration of reserved study spaces

There are around 120 study spaces.
Study spaces in the Library and in the Study Room can be booked online. As part of a pilot project, on-site check-in will be required for use of reserved study spaces from 31 August 2026 to 31 January 2027:
- UB Business Administration - Library: booked-UB Check-in
- UB Business Administration - Study Room: booked-UB Check-in
Some study spaces can be used without prior reservation (in the Study Room study spaces with even numbers).
Vacant study spaces can be used at any time, but reservations take priority.

The Study Room with 120 seats, located outside the Library location, is open from Monday to Sunday from 7:00am to 11:00pm.

Access after 7:00pm and on weekends only with valid UZH card.

The Study Room is located in the building at Plattenstrasse 14 (PLR). The entrance to the Study Room is at the back of the building (on Phönixweg).
