What Study Spaces are Available?
- There are around 30 study spaces, whereof 7 with PC/screens (see devices).
- Individual as well as group study spaces are available, e.g. workbays.
- UZH members can book some of these study spaces in the library and in the Study Room online:
- Pilot project check-in study spaces 31 August 2026 - 31 January 2027
- UB Business Administration - Library: booked-UB Check-in
- UB Business Administration - Study Room: booked-UB Check-in
- Some study spaces can be used without prior reservation.
- Vacant study spaces can be used at any time, but reservations take priority.
Study Room
The Study Room with 120 study spaces, located outside the library site, is open Monday to Sunday from 7am to 11pm.
After 7pm and on weekends access is only possible with a validated UZH Card.
What Infrastructure Can I Use Here?
Borrow and Return
- Self-checkout station
- 24h returns box next to the entrance door
- Please note that items will not be cleared from the library account until the next working day (check due date!).
Devices
- 2 PC workstations for catalog research with Internet access
- 2 study spaces with external screen (USB-C)
Finance Databases (for UZH members only)
- 2 terminals with Bloomberg
- 2 terminals with Stata
Lockers
- 109 lockers (free of charge, 28 days loan, reservation possible via swisscovery)
- Locker keys can be borrowed at the location.

Do you want to get to know the location and its services in an uncomplicated way? We offer a short guided tour for new users, in which we explain everything you might need for your everyday library life.
Please register using our application form. The tour can take place from Monday to Friday in the mornings between 9:00am and 1:00pm. Please give us three preferred dates and we will get back to you with a definite date.
Information about the Location and Collection
UB Business Administration is located at Plattenstrasse 14 (PLM), the entrance to the library is at the back of the building (Phönixweg).
The collection is organized according to the Regensburger Verbundklassifikation (RVK).
