The library holds the largest research library of Asian and Oriental Studies in Switzerland as well as a growing collection of Gender Studies. The library includes over 230'000 volumes, 2'000 journals (of which 480 ongoing) as well as microfilms, CD-ROMs, audio-cassettes, CDs and DVDs and provides access to specialized databases.
