The Language Repository of Switzerland (LaRS) is a national platform for the publication of linguistic research data, resulting from a cooperation initiative of the University of Zurich. LaRS is supported by:
LiRI is a technology platform of the University of Zurich and offers various services in the area of data generation, processing and annotation. LiRI also supports data-intensive projects with linguistic expertise.
The Open Science Services department of the University Library Zurich coordinates activities such as data curation and requirements management for LaRS. Various departments of the University Library as well as the Zurich Central Library support LaRS in data curation for linguistics.
CLARIN CH is the Swiss branch of CLARIN, the international research network for linguistics. The coordination office is located at UZH and administers the Swiss community in technical matters.
LaRS uses SWISSUbase as its repository system. SWISSUbase is operated in partnership between FORS and the Universities of Zurich and Lausanne and provides Swiss research institutions with a reliable data infrastructure. Three Data Service Units (DSUs) use SWISSUbase, and additional partners and DSUs are welcome:
