Romance Language and Literature

Thanks to a donation by Dr. Edwin Maria Landau, the Romance Language, and Literature studies department has become a research center for Paul Claudel (1868-1955). The special collection includes all of Paul Claudel's works in various editions and translations as well as a broad collection of critical literature on Paul Claudel. A primary focus of the collection is the documentation of theater performances in German-speaking countries.

The special collection is dedicated to the writer Marcel Proust (1871-1922). The inventory includes all of Proust's works in various editions and translations, critical literature on Marcel Proust, and a collection of critical journal articles on his work.
